Chris St. Hilaire is MFour’s co-founder and CEO, and has been an innovator in market research for more than 25 years. Coming from a background as a political strategy and campaign consultant, he used his polling acumen to focus on consumer research, starting with the groundbreaking insight, in 2010, that a new era in technology and communication was at hand – the Smartphone Era. MFour has progressed from there, guided by Chris’s core business principles of Quality, Consistency, and Innovation. His honors include recognition from the American Business Awards for leading one of the nation’s “most innovative” companies. Chris also is the author of “27 Powers of Persuasion: Simple Strategies to Seduce Audiences and Win Allies,” published by Prentice Hall Press. The book is a practical guide to the communication skills needed for effective leadership. He and his wife, Brenda, are parents to two sons Zachary and Gabriel.
Nick Philyaw is the Senior Manager of Competitive Insights & Intelligence at Samsung, where he leads the development of retail and consumer strategies through data-driven insights. With over a decade of experience in market intelligence, consumer behavior, and retail analytics, Nick specializes in blending real-world field execution with advanced analytics to uncover what truly drives shopper decisions. He brings a passion for turning complex data into actionable narratives that shape go-to-market strategy and competitive positioning. Nick has previously held roles across both global and CPG sectors and is a trusted voice in connecting digital, in-store, and survey-based signals into a unified view of the path to purchase.
Alex Colao came to MFour in 2015 as a Senior Solutions Executive and is now Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for overseeing and mentoring a fast-growing Sales team. Before coming to MFour, Alex was a Sales Director at Hanover Research, where his achievements were instrumental in Hanover being honored for the first time as one of the American Marketing Association’s Top 50 market research firms. Alex grew up in Rochester, NY, and is an alumnus of the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.
