C-Risk invites you to their event

Quantifying the financial risk of a databreach – breaking down the Ponemon numbers

About this event

PII Data breach incidents make the headlines, but how much of what we read is applicable to our own organisation?

Industry literature often dramatically inflates probable financial impact, and as a result leadership is not confident in using these numbers to inform decisioning making.

C-Risk will share how to use reliable data sources to estimate how much financial loss your organisation is exposed to from a data breach scenario. We will look at the loss types which scale with number of records breached and which are closer to fixed costs.

Willy Mikalef, from the international law firm Bird & Bird, will share his experience and walk us through the sequence of activities that Bird & Bird's clients go through when victim of a data breach.

We will also explore the control families that dramatically decrease the probability of expensive litigation and regulatory fines.

Join us to understand how to quantify your data breach risk exposure to better inform your data security and compliance strategy.
