Synopsis: This CPD webinar, “Navigating Standards, Compliance, and Specification,” equips architects, designers, and specifiers with a clear understanding of the key New Zealand Standards and council requirements that influence fencing specification and installation. It explores NZBC Clause F4 (Safety from Falling), acoustic and boundary compliance, and the selection of compliant systems for pool fencing, retaining walls, and boundary treatments. Participants will learn how to avoid common specification pitfalls, ensure buildability across residential, medium-density, and commercial projects, and confidently align design intent with regulatory frameworks to achieve safe, durable, and compliant outcomes.
