ReadSpeaker invites you to their event

Advancing Digital Inclusion and Engagement in African Education with TTS in Indigenous Languages

About this event

ReadSpeaker and New Leaf will discuss how text to speech (TTS) can be leveraged to enhance digital inclusion for education across Southern Africa.

We will:

  • show how text to speech technology converts written text into natural-sounding speech, providing an easy to integrate, easy to use way for learners to engage with more accessible and engaging digital content
  • introduce TTS voices for regional languages such as IsiZulu, IsiXhosa, Xitsonga, Setswana, Tshivenda, Sesotho, Siswati, Sepedi, IsiNdebele, and Afrikaans
  • discuss specific use cases from the education sector including Higher Education and Corporate Training
  • demonstrate our suite of text to speech learning tools and LMS integrations
  • share best practices and implementation strategies
  • open the floor to a Q&A session with a member of our technical team present

Don't miss this chance to learn more about how TTS technology is contributing to a more inclusive digital future for Africa, and how you can apply these tools for your learners.
