About this event
During this webinar, we will explore the best ways to navigate through the Enterococcus cecorum challenge. Enterococcus cecorum is one of the most emerging pathogens in poultry and poses significant challenges for farmers worldwide. This bacterium can cause severe infections, leading to lameness, decreased growth rates and increased mortality, all of which directly impact the profitability and sustainability of poultry farms.
We invited 2 experts to talk about this subject:
Dr. Arne Jung will give an overview about Enterococcus cecorum associated disease in meat type chickens, briefly present the current knowledge about epidemiology and give an overview about possible intervention methods. He will close his presentation with results of his own research dealing with the protective efficacy of antibodies against Enterococcus cecorum.
Dr. Tim Goossens will provide Adisseo's vision and solution approach to limit the development of Enterococcus cecorum in poultry operations. Drawing from his expertise and field trials, he will outline possible intervention methods in animal nutrition and health.
Adisseo is among the world leaders in animal nutrition & health with a turnover above 2 billion euros in 2024 and over 4,200 customers.
