Peter Evans is the CEO of Xtract One Technologies. Peter Evans has 25 years of experience leading organizations’ digital transformation and innovation activities for customers in the telecom, cloud, SaaS, and security industries, both cyber and physical. With the team at Xtract One, Peter is bolstering the physical security technology industry while not only maintaining but improving the customer experience - not just for Xtract One’s customers, but their customers also. With an understanding of the operational challenges their customers face, in a sectors from stadiums and arenas to healthcare facilities, Peter is driving the organization towards delivering solutions that replace outdated systems, augment current technology, and enhance existing resources.
Chris Markey is the currently the Vice President Safety, Security and Operations at Liverpool Football Club and am responsible for the security all club sites, match and event day safety at Anfield. The key areas of focus are spectator safety, counter terrorism, physical security, close protection, travel security for staff, players and fans in Europe, police liaison for wider club security matters, stakeholder and contract management.
Markey previously served over 30 years as a police officer with Merseyside Police, reaching the rank of Chief Superintendent. For the last two years of his service he was the Head of Human Resources and Force Academy. Markey was responsible for Organization Development, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Occupational Health Unit, Force Resourcing, Health and Safety and Force Training. He was also Public Order Silver Commander responsible for policing large events such as the Liverpool Half Marathon, Force Arrest Days, VIP and Royal visits and high profile Crown Court security operations. He gained extensive experience of policing football at Liverpool, Everton and Tranmere Football Clubs and undertook the role of Head of Police Delegation with both Liverpool and Everton in Europe. Markey was also Police Strategic Firearms Commander and Specialist Tactical Firearms Commander which involved working with Counter Terrorism Units and the Military.
