Meet the panelists

Christopher Brewer, Unit4

Chris has more than 25 years of experience working with some of the world's largest Not-for-Profits and NGOs to enhance their technological capacity. Chris is passionate about helping leaders identify and address changing patterns and shifts in technology to ensure their organizations' ongoing success. Chris is curious about business processes, IT technology, and customer insights, especially how to combine them. His deep knowledge in the sectors allows him to support and advise on relevant business challenges.

Thomas Anderson, IT4Causes

After a long career as a technologist and manager/director at places like Honeywell and Capital One, Tom Anderson decided to focus his efforts more on impact than income, and founded IT4Causes, a nonprofit that helps other nonprofits with their technology needs. IT4Causes uses a blended resource model that involves paid nonprofit IT consultants, skilled IT volunteers, and technology interns, that offers fee-for-service IT services, where nonprofit clients typically get 3-5 hours of service for every staff hour they buy. Tom serves as CEO of IT4Causes, chief technology officer for many nonprofit clients, systems engineer for M365 and other cloud platforms, and cheerleader for IT4Causes’ volunteers and interns.

Mark Becker, Cathexis Partners

Mark founded Cathexis Partners in 2008, providing technical and consultative services to nonprofits of all sizes and all verticals. He previously served as director of IT consulting at a fundraising event production company focused on nonprofits. For more than 20 years, Mark has supported hundreds of nonprofit online fundraising efforts.

Tara Bartels, Dataprise

Tara Bartels has been with Dataprise since 2015 and became Team Lead of the Strategic Consulting team in January 2022. Tara has led projects for dozens of enterprise and SMB organizations around the country, with particular focus on IT governance, risk, and compliance.
