About this event
Transport safety has always been a thorny issue that accounts for the majority of society's concern, especially with the continued proliferation of private vehicles day by day. Applying digital innovation & modern technology into transportation is no longer strange issues; however, whether we apply efficiently in each context or each country or not - how does it change the people's behavior as well as the impact to gender?
To tackle this question, the panel discussion No 2 "Sustainable Transportation Safety" in the Event Series "Shaping the unknown future toward smart city" which are organized by Institute of Smart City (ISCM), University of Economics and Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) - Vietnam and more than 20 local and international universities, companies, NGOs, local authority around the world; which was hosted by ISCM - UEH (Vietnam), IMOB – Hasselt University (Belgium) and WiTL, and collaborators: University of Melbourne (Australia), University of the Philippines, Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan (Phillippine), Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia) and Thammasat University (Thailand), on Wednesday 23rd September 2020 to discuss about various interesting topics as:
- How digital innovation and technology advance road safety education and lifelong learning?
- Utilizing intelligent services to enhance the quality of transport education system
- Gender equality with reflection from Australia, Malaysia, Phillippines & Thailand on women in transport safety toward smart city development
