Vishal Gupta assumed the top technology leadership position at Lexmark in early 2021 and is responsible for corporate IT, corporate strategy, and all software and analytics powering Lexmark's offerings. In this interview, we tap into his deep knowledge of IoT, cyber security, AI and machine learning, hybrid cloud, and other key technology areas that are critical to Lexmark's position as a leader in IoT- and cloud-enabled imaging technologies.

Prior to this, Gupta was Global CTO and SVP of Technology at Unisys, where he led a team of more than 1,500 engineers and was responsible for all products and platforms. Before that, Gupta served as SVP & VP of engineering at Symantec Corp., overseeing global teams for end-to-end engineering, architecture, and product management for multiple product lines across security software offerings.
