‘Levelling out’ – enabling coastal communities to benefit from renewables projects

About this event

Two core strands of the government’s plan for a post-Covid recovery are a green industrial revolution and the levelling up agenda. A large portion of the green revolution will come from renewable energy off and at our coastlines, where many communities are most in need of investment. Through our expert panel, this webinar will explore the opportunities that coastal communities can benefit from with a significant pipeline of renewables projects over the next decade and beyond. From jobs, supply chains, skills and investment, we’ll ask what barriers and challenges need to overcome to realise the government’s ambition to spur regeneration and innovation in coastal communities.
