About our speaker

Dr Anri Celliers

Anri qualified from the University of Pretoria Faculty of Veterinary Science in 2009. She worked in Private Practice for six years and completed her honours degree in Small Animal Medicine during that time. In 2016, Anri returned to Onderstepoort to complete a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine and qualified as a specialist in 2019. Anri accepted a permanent position at the faculty in 2019 and lectures in musculoskeletal medicine and gastro-enterology. Due to a special interest in oncology and immunology, she completed a experiential externship at the University of Florida's oncology service and is currently part of the initiative to expand the oncology service at the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital.
