Macquarie University invites you to their event

Careers in Engineering

About this event

Engineers address real-world problems. They fix things that are broken, improve those that work and come up with new inventions. Engineers help move the world toward a brighter future by solving problems with pollution, finding ways to harness new energy sources, producing new medicines, and building new structures. They apply principles of ethics to try to find the best answer to a question. Engineers help people.

Engineers receive professional recognition that can be used internationally. They are paid well and are generally in high demand. Engineering is a very logical and fact-based profession and this brings with it high organisational and analytical skills that can lead to other careers outside of mainstream engineering. For example, engineering is the most commonly studied university subject amongst the CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.

We invite you to a webinar organised by Macquarie University and industry expert Professor Simon Mahon from the School of Engineering to learn about career opportunities in the Engineering sector.

We'll also use the opportunity to discuss:

  • Macquarie's academic excellence and reputation in this field
  • Our practical and comprehensive curriculum and industry linkages
  • Macquarie’s online and blended study platform and the future ahead

There will be a live question and answer session to allow you to ask any questions you may have about studying with us.

We look forward to meeting you online soon!
