Delving Deeper into Failure Analysis: Next Steps

About this event

This webinar, the concluding session in our comprehensive series, delves into critical steps following the identification of failure modes as well as potential contributing factors to failure. Building upon the failure analysis, this session outlines actionable next steps to enhance part robustness and remediate the root causes of failure. For the identified failure modes, we will discuss strategies such as investigating material alternatives, optimizing part design, alongside essential lifetime prediction testing.

Furthermore, this webinar will address potential contributing factors to failure, such as molecular degradation, porosity, high molded-in residual stresses due to processing as well as stress concentrations from part geometry. For these factors, we will detail remediation pathways, including thorough part design review, process review, Moldflow analysis, and tooling review.

Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to translate failure analysis insights into practical improvements, ensuring more robust and reliable product performance.
