This year’s agenda brings together three major themes:

• Climate Data & Catastrophe Modelling: Data related to climate science and change is becoming increasingly valuable in catastrophe modelling, but must be applied with care and context. In this session, Brandon Katz, Executive VP of Strategy at KatRisk, will explore what we do and don’t yet know about using climate data in cat models - from integrating climate intelligence into risk modelling to how these models are being used to address emerging regulatory requirements.
• The Science of Wildfire: Wildfires are an emerging peril across the UK and Northern Europe. In this session, Adrián Cardil, Director of Fire Science at Technosylva, will show how wildfire science powers advanced risk modelling and mitigation strategies. Drawing on simulations from projects in Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands, Adrián will demonstrate Technosylva’s software in action through real-world video examples.
• House fires in England: A report of England’s Fire & Rescue Services attended over 451,078 dwelling fires (houses, flats, caravans, etc) between 2010 and 2025. This session will translate fire trends and prevention lessons from England into actionable insights for insurance and risk management sectors.
