VAT IT invites you to their event

The 2026–2030 e-Invoice Mandate Map: What's Live, What's Coming, and Where You're Exposed

About this event

France went live on 1 September. Germany’s issuing obligation starts on 1 January. The UAE’s first wave goes live the same day, and the deadline to appoint a service provider has already passed. If you run finance across more than one country, the next four years will change how every invoice you send and receive is created, exchanged and reported.

In this session, Carl de Lange (VAT IT) and Leigh Jay Lawrence (Consilio) go country by country so you can build your own compliance calendar for 2026–2030 as you listen. For each market, they cover the same four points: how the model works, when the issuing (AR) obligation starts, when the receiving (AP) obligation starts, and the trap most companies miss.

What we’ll cover:

The two questions that decide your exposure: whether a country switches on receiving or issuing first, and whether it uses a clearance, post-audit or real-time reporting model

France: the first weeks of go-live, accredited platforms, new mandatory invoice fields, e-reporting for foreign VAT-registered entities, and why the 2026 tolerance period is not a delay

Germany: the €800k issuing threshold in 2027, which formats count as an e-invoice, why the XML now outranks the PDF, and how non-compliant supplier invoices can put your input VAT deduction at risk

Spain: how to tell Crea y Crece from VeriFactu, the confirmed B2B dates from October 2027, invoice-status reporting, and the latest on VeriFactu timing

UAE, Ireland and the UK: the Peppol-based mandates arriving between 2027 and 2029, and what to plan for now

Lightning round: Belgium, Poland, Croatia, Greece and the next wave of EU countries, plus ViDA’s July 2030 cross-border deadline

Where you’re exposed: a one-page master calendar and a five-question checklist to take back to your team, covering entity mapping, receiving readiness, supplier risk, platform strategy and the three deadlines that are less than 60 days away

Who should attend: finance, tax, AP/AR and IT leaders at multi-country businesses, especially anyone with entities in France, Germany, Spain or the UAE.

Your presenters:

  • Carl de Lange, Head of Sales, VAT IT
  • Leigh Jay Lawrence, Director, Consilio

You’ll leave knowing which of your entities are already in scope, which deadlines come next, and how to design once for EN 16931 so each new country becomes a configuration change rather than a new project.
