Working Capital Leadership: Aligning people, process, technology and funding for optimum results

About this event

In a world of high interest rates, fragile supply chains, and constant disruption, working capital has become more than an efficiency metric. It’s now a strategic engine for growth, resilience, and investment. But what separates today’s most effective working capital leaders from the rest?

Join us for a fast-paced, insight-rich 45-minute webinar where we unpack the findings of the new Working Capital Leadership Report 2025, created in partnership with GSCF. This session brings the data to life through real-world experience, expert commentary, and practical takeaways for finance and treasury professionals - including your own copy of the full report.

What to Expect

A candid conversation with Carol Thurnheer, working capital leader at Haleon. What does good leadership look like in 2025? How do the best organisations break silos, build cash culture, and embed liquidity into strategic decisions? Expect practical insights and lessons learned.

A guided walkthrough of the headline data - we’ll present the most important findings from the report, including:

  • Why forecasting and visibility remain the biggest operational gaps.
  • How automation and analytics are reshaping working capital maturity.
  • The growing influence of cross-functional collaboration.
  • What distinguishes the 24% of “Working Capital Champions” who lead strategy, drive integration, and deliver measurable business impact.

You’ll see how organisations are modernising tools, accelerating cycle times and transforming supplier relationships, and where the biggest opportunities still lie.

Expert commentary from our partners at GSCF

We conclude with insights from Lori Sternola , Global Sector Head - Corporates at GSCF, who will explore how funding models, technology integration, and connected ecosystems are evolving. Hear how leading companies are blending bank and non-bank funding, leveraging platforms to simplify complexity, and turning liquidity into a strategic lever for growth.

This webinar is ideal for treasury, finance, procurement, and working capital professionals looking to:

  • Benchmark themselves against global peers.
  • Understand the emerging “leadership archetypes” shaping the future.
  • Learn how to overcome persistent barriers such as fragmented data and manual processes.
  • Gain practical guidance to accelerate their own working capital programmes.
  • If you’re ready to turn insight into action - and action into liquidity - this is the webinar you don’t want to miss.
