500 years ago, Fernand Magellan accompanied by the Venetian Antonio Pigafetta discovered the important sea passage between the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean at the southernmost tip of South America. Today, this sea passage is called the "Strait of Magellan" and is a very special travel destination in Patagonia.
