FINN launched in 2019 as a subscription service to revolutionize car ownership. In the 4 short years, the FINN team has scaled to managing 30k cars across 30 facilities globally. In order to support this rapid growth, the FINN team relied on custom-built internal software. With their engineers focused on customer-facing product needs, data automation engineers like Cornelius Schramm stepped up to the challenge, helping prototype and ship business-critical apps to ensure that their car subscription marketplace could function seamlessly amid hypergrowth.

Today, FINN has a directory of 80+ interconnected internal apps on top of 150+ data sources (across databases and APIs)— with a team of fewer than 50 engineers. Their engineering team focuses on the most complex internal apps, while automation analysts handle the rest.
