Thomas Golücke is the Group CEO of Medela. He joined Medela Group in 2014 and served as EVP Europe Americas until July 2024, before being promoted to CEO. He brings extensive experience in General Management, Sales, and Marketing from prior roles and holds an MBA from the University of Cologne. Passionate about leveraging innovation to nurture health for generations, he envisions a future shaped by technology and scientific insight. With a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Thomas champions initiatives that improve opportunities for working mothers. A native of Germany, Thomas has lived in Germany, Spain, and Switzerland. Fluent in German, English, French, and Spanish, he brings a global perspective to his leadership. Outside of work, he enjoys music, literature, and sports like tennis, skiing, and mountain biking. He’s also an avid traveler, culinary enthusiast, and proud supporter of Bayern München football club.
Angela Lang, DNP-CNS, RN, IBCLC, CNL, C-ONQS, is a dedicated advocate for maternal and infant health, translating science into compassionate, evidence-based care. As the Global Director of Medical Affairs and Clinical Education at Medela, she leads initiatives that bridge research, education, and advocacy to empower clinicians and families with the tools they need for optimal outcomes. With over a decade of experience in maternal-infant care and a Doctorate in Clinical Practice, Angela applies both academic expertise and real-world clinical insight to ensure equitable access to quality care. A practicing IBCLC and perinatal care leader, her career spans leadership roles in clinical practice, education, and healthcare system improvement.
