Matthew Schumann Industry Manager for Fire Resistance and Fire Containment @ UL SolutionsG
Matthew Schumann is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering has worked for UL Solutions in the Built Environment segment for over twenty years. Matthew currently works as an Industry Manager for Fire Resistance and Fire Containment, concentrating on training, development of new services and support of client relationships. He has been recognized by UL Solution’s William Henry Merrill Society as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff due to his contributions. Matthew has represented UL Solutions at various activities such as the International Firestop Council, Firestop Contractors International Association, AMCA and various door related industry groups and standards development committees such as NFPA, BHMA, SDI, DASMA and NAAMM. Most recently, he has helped to develop and launch the Technical Evaluation Developer Program for the firestop industry.
