Achieving RESET Net Zero and Carbon Neutral in Office Interiors

1 x IDCEC Credit Offered to All Attendees

Architect and sustainability expert Raefer Wallis will explore the principles behind RESET, the world’s first building standard to assess and benchmark the health performance of buildings in real-time, and spotlight a case study that demonstrates the value of this new system. For its newest regional headquarters, Brookfield Properties sought to move away from qualitative indicators of sustainability (silver, gold, etc.) towards quantitative measures.

Brookfield leveraged the RESET Standard, pursuing no less than 7 performance certifications. This session will cover how the office has been achieving:

  • RESET Net Zero since its opening (scopes 1 & 2).
  • RESET Carbon Neutral for construction
  • RESET Embodied Circularity
  • RESET Embodied Health
  • RESET Air, Water and Energy

All the while saving over 40% in material costs.
