Bas Groot Koerkamp, MD, PhD

Surgical Oncologist, Erasmus MC, The Netherlands
Bas Groot Koerkamp is a Professor of Surgery and HPB/Transplant surgeon at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
His research focus is clinical and translational research in pancreatic and biliary cancer. He is the PI of the PREOPANC 2 and 3 trials for neoadjuvant treatment of pancreatic cancer, the PUMP I, II, and IV trials for hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy for liver tumors, and the TESLA 1 and 2 trials for primary percutaneous stenting for malignant biliary hilar obstruction.
