The Way Back: Virtual Fandom and the Roadmap to Reopen Europe

Empty stadiums? No problem when it comes to crowd noise (it can be simulated) and filling seats (cardboard cutouts can do the trick). But how do we make it feel real for fans and athletes alike? As sports leagues in Europe cautiously resume operations, we’ll sit down with club and broadcast representatives who are actively using technology to create a live sporting experience that brings an audience back and keeps viewers engaged.
