Dr. Peter Shriver’s unique training, background, and clinical experience bring an unparalleled expertise to laser vision correction, specifically LASIK and PRK. During his Fellowship at the University of California, Dr. Shriver was awarded the Beckman Laser Fellow, during which he conducted the original FDA trials evaluating the safety and usability of lasers for both LASIK and PRK procedures. Since then, he has performed over 12,000 LASIK procedures, in both North and South America, as well as trained hundreds of eye surgeons in the LASIK procedure.
The lecture presented to offer guidance on diagnosing the various causes of the red eye, and specifically corneal causes to help increase the knowledge base of the provider, thus leading to a better clinical outcome for the patient.
