Jeff Pollard VP and Principal Analyst @ Forrester

Jeff Pollard is a VP and principal analyst who leads Forrester’s research on AI security, emerging technology security, and the evolving role of the CISO. He created Forrester’s AEGIS framework for securing agentic AI and pioneers research on AI intent, autonomy, governance, and practical security controls. Jeff advises CISOs on strategy, budgets, metrics, business cases, and board engagement, helping them enable innovation and deliver measurable business value. Previous Work Experience Prior to joining Forrester, Jeff served as a global architect at Verizon, Dell SecureWorks, and Mandiant, working with the world's largest organizations in financial services, telecommunications, media, and defense. In those roles he helped clients fuse managed security and professional services engagements in security monitoring, security management, red teams, penetration testing, OSINT, forensics, and application security.
