Copper Consultancy invites you to their event

Connecting Women: Lunch & Learn

About this event

With women continuing to be the minority when working in industries like infrastructure, we want to bring visibility to inspirational women, build awareness of the careers open to both women and girls and reflect the value women bring to a team or project.

Copper Consultancy is running Connecting Women to create change, and we are thrilled to bring you a Lunch & Learn on Thursday 23 February 12:00-13:00. The session, hosted by The Girls Network, will cover the importance of mentoring and the ways in which you can get involved to help girls get inspired.

About The Girls Network:

This fabulous charity inspires and empowers girls aged 14-19 from the least advantaged communities. Founded by two former secondary school teachers who identified the many barriers young women faced in the classroom, the charity believes that girls need greater access to more opportunities, but also the confidence to seize them and the skills to thrive in them.

With a mantra of “you can’t be what you can’t see” The Girls Network has created a mentoring programme to share experiences and skills with girls that might not otherwise benefit from this support network. This is a great way to show our future generation what’s possible.
