Sean Burns is the QBE Insurance Head of Data & Analytics for Asia. He has over 20 years of hands-on experience working in Data & Analytics in banking and insurance internationally. He worked and lived in India, Japan, Singapore (currently based), and his home country, the United States. Started as an analyst, he then moved up to train analysts, leading analysts, and leading D&A teams. At QBE, Sean created and implementing a three-pillar D&A strategy in order to: Ensure our data is the source of truth Utilise advance analytics tools of machine learning/AI to solve business programs Expand data literacy of the QBE Asia talent He is married with his wife Emi, and two sons, Tommy and Ryan. Sean loves to travel around the world, and he volunteers as a Scoutmaster for Troop 7.
Craig Rowlands is the Senior Executive Information Management at Medibank. Craig’s role is to provide thought leadership, aligned with expertise in delivering pragmatic business focus information management solutions whilst leading improvements in the data landscape.
