This webinar will introduce how part design and processing conditions can contribute to common problems that occur during the injection molding process. Case studies will be presented to show how to identify injection molding defects and where in the process they develop. These case studies will also showcase how to use process data, analytical testing, and injection molding simulation to more quickly troubleshoot injection molding defects. This event is best suited for those who have a basic understanding of polymeric materials, their behavior, and the injection molding process.

Hunter Beaumont, a Project Engineer at The Madison Group, leverages his B.S. in Plastics Engineering Technology (Penn State Behrend) and Certified Moldflow Analyst expertise to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing success for our clients. His primary role focuses on using CAE tools and industry experience to help our customers transition their designs into manufacturable products that will perform well in the field.
Tom received his B.S. in Manufacturing and Plastics Engineering from UW– Stout, and his M.S. in Engineering Management from UW– Platteville. His work concentrates on using CAE tools and industry experience to assist clients in optimizing and troubleshooting their plastic components and assemblies.
