Tokenized Repo Markets on Canton: From Pilot to Production

About this event

Institutional repo markets are evolving as tokenized settlement moves from pilots to production on the Canton Network. This webinar will examine current inefficiencies in repo markets and how distributed ledger infrastructure can improve dispute resolution and operational efficiency.

We will also outline the differences between DLR (Digital Ledger Repo, Broadridge) and TSS (Tokenized Securities Settlement, Tradeweb) and discuss what is required to scale tokenized repo markets, particularly for the securities leg and institutional post-trade workflows. Kaiko will host market participants who are actively deploying repo infrastructure on Canton to share insights from live activity and the roadmap ahead.

Agenda:

  1. Current inefficiencies and dispute resolution in repo markets
  2. Live repo initiatives and architectures on Canton (DLR and TSS)
  3. What the market needs to scale efficiently, especially for the securities leg and post-trade workflows
