Hilti invites you to their event

Seismic Design of Structures & Connections

About this event

At Hilti, we are committed to enabling safer and more resilient structures through knowledge and innovation. We invite you to join our upcoming live webinar, 'Seismic Design of Structures & Connections: Indian and Global Standards Perspectives.'

This session is designed to strengthen your understanding of seismic design principles and the fundamentals of earthquake-resistant structures. It will cover key provisions from Indian standards such as IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 13935, and IS 1946, along with global best practices to provide a well rounded perspective on designing for seismic performance.

The webinar will also highlight the critical role of structural and non-structural connections in ensuring overall system performance during earthquakes especially in high seismic zones and how proper design can significantly enhance safety and reliability.

What to expect:

Key Topics:

  • Seismic design principles and scope in IS 1893 / IS 13920 / IS 13935
  • Global perspectives on seismic design of structures and connections
  • Design principles of connections as per IS 1946 and their correlation with IS 1893
  • Interactive Q&A session

Hosted under the Seismic Academy initiative, this exclusive webinar brings together leading experts to discuss the latest updates in seismic standards and their practical implications on structural and connection design.

Designed for specifiers, structural engineers, consultants, building owners, and academicians, this session will provide valuable insights to help you design safer, more resilient structures.

We look forward to your participation.
