Discover the fascinating history of botanical art from the 15th century BC to its modern revival. During this online lecture Catherine will detail voyages of exploration to gather and document plants from the far corners of the world as well as contemporary illustrations of plants in notable botanical gardens or other collections.

Intended Audience: Intermediate: Suitable for sprouted and full bloom learners, this program dives deeper into the topic. Please note: this program does not contain introductory information.

    Catherine is a botanical artist and instructor whose paintings have been exhibited around the globe and is included in many private collections. She has been teaching botanical art for over twenty years in the San Francisco Bay area, throughout the US, and in France.
