Enhancing the College Gameday Experience Through Targeted Tech Investments

Few things in sports replicate the atmosphere and energy at big-time college sports event. In recent decades, however, the infrastructure and amenity level of stadiums and arenas in which these amazing events are staged have often been eclipsed by pro venues that host many more event-days and generate more revenue. But now that gap is closing again, thanks to new technologies and flexible business models that work just as well on campus as they do downtown. Amidst an abundance of venue upgrade options, many administrators are concluding that they get the most impact from investments that improve guest ingress. Not only do these investments directly improve a major operational challenge and pain point that almost every attendee faces, they also indirectly enhance home field advantage and drive per capita spending, as fans arrive more quickly and with less stress.

What we will cover:

· Why college sports administrators are making ingress upgrades a priority

· How colleges are restructuring the business arrangements in an environment with limited event days and fewer non-sports uses

· How they are measuring success and ROI

Who should attend:

· College athletic department decision makers

· College administrators and staff

· Venue operations staff and executives

· Venue operations vendors and concessionaires
