Blending Digital and Physical - How Technology Is Improving Fan Transactions at Sports Venues

About this event

Wednesday, September 30 | 12:30 PM ET

COVID-19 has changed fan behavior and accelerated three to five years of technology adoption into six months. Technologies that were experiencing slow and steady growth, like contactless payment, mobile web, and QR codes, are now becoming commonplace and the standard moving forward. This episode of The Way Back will examine how these changes have blurred the lines between physical commerce systems (e.g., POS terminals) and digital ordering systems (e.g., mobile web ordering) and what sports venues are doing to adapt to the new normal.
