The Omnia Group invites you to their event

TakeAway Tuesday - Lessons You Didn't Learn in School

About this event

While school taught us a lot, the main focus was on hard skills. Hard skills are specific abilities, or capabilities, that an individual possesses and demonstrates in a measured way. Skills like math, typing, software applications, and computer expertise are learned and measured. Soft skills are secondary and harder to measure. These include a combination of personality traits, behaviors, and social attributes that allow people to do things like communicate effectively, collaborate, and successfully manage conflict.

Soft skills are imperative for a strong workforce because they cover important areas such as problem-solving, one’s ability to work in a team, leadership, and communication.
