Ulrich F.W. Franke, M.D., Ph.D. lives in Stuttgart, Germany. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of cardiothoracic surgery and has specialized in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, including robotic mitral valve and coronary surgery, reconstructive valve surgery, as well as off-pump coronary surgery. Since 2007, he is the Director of the Department of Cardiac and Vascular Surgery at the Robert Bosch Hospital in Stuttgart, Germany.

James Martin, M.D., P.C. lives in Detroit, MI. He has a broad spectrum of expertise in cardiothoracic surgery, including minimally invasive cardiac and thoracic operations, off pump coronary bypass, aortic aneurysm repairs, valve repair and replacement, re-operative and high-risk procedures. Dr. Martin is currently the Vice President and Executive Director at the Center for Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery, in Detroit, MI, USA, as well as the Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Ascension Macomb Oakland Hospital, Warren, MI, USA and McLaren Port Huron Hospital, Port Huron, MI, USA.
