Tails.com is a dog food subscription company backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies. Laura is responsible for all aspects of tails.com EU and their sibling company, Republic of Cats, customer service through the leadership of 3 Team Leaders. She also manages the Customer Experience forecasts across the UK, EU and Republic of Cats markets. Additionally to being the voice of the customer and managing customer support, she also focuses on employee engagement and people development in her current and previous roles.

🎤 Josephine Speed, Talent Acquisition Manager at Waitrose Retail

Jo has worked for the John Lewis Partnership for the past 13 years, predominantly in People roles. For the past 5 years, she has worked in the TA space and has experience leading both Head Office and Volume teams. Her experience has given her a wide knowledge of many different areas of the function, including operational teams such as Payroll and more niche areas such as the People Performance hub, looking after all of the Partnerships HR data. She is open, honest and approachable and thrives on getting the best out of a team.
