Back to Basics: Phones an Essential Campaign Tool in the Age of COVID-19

About this event

Social distancing requirements during COVID-19 present unprecedented challenges as campaigns scramble to find alternatives to in-person rallies, door-to-door canvassing and fundraising events. Join our conversation to discuss why campaigns are having more success with Communications through phones —Tele-Town Halls, peer-to-peer (P2P) texting, Wallet Pass and live/IVR Surveys—than they are with digital, television, email and direct mail. We'll discuss building personal relationships with voters remotely, fundraising when giving is not a top priority for many, and turning out voters who are afraid to leave their homes as more states relax vote-by-mail requirements.
