The European Commission published a chemicals strategy for sustainability on 14 October 2020. It is part of the Green Deal, and aims to aims to better protect citizens and the environment and boost innovation for safe and sustainable chemicals. Various actions are focasted, in order to ban the most harmful chemicals in consumer products allowing their use only where essential, or account for the cocktail effect of chemicals when assessing risks from chemicals, etc. Check the last news on this ambitious change in our regulatory framework.
