The current situation of Foot and Mouth Disease in South Africa
The Southern African Society for Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine (SASVEPM) is organising a national webinar for our members about Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD). This will be a two-hour information session with six panelists followed by an hour of interactive discussion.
This will be an important opportunity to address some of the challenges to FMD control in South Africa through engagement, information sharing and exchange of field experiences. The goal of the webinar is to contribute to the collective efforts for the speedy control of the disease in the country.
Invited speakers: Prof. Geoffrey Fosgate, Dr Livio Heath, Dr Mpho Maja, Dr Oupa Rikhotso, Dr Chris Mabaso and Dr Cameron Kutwana.
This webinar will be CPD accredited.
