    Ginger Dewey Educational Development Manager @ ReadSpeaker, LLC

    Ginger Dewey taught for 38 years in K12 and higher ed, mostly in higher ed. After retiring from higher ed, she transitioned to for ReadSpeaker, doing what she loves - faculty training. She is married with two adult children: daughter - Civil Engineer, & son - Marine Corps.Sergeant.

    Clint Surry Educator and Course Developer @ South Island Distance Education School (SIDES)

    Clint Surry is a teacher at SIDES (the South Island Distance Education School) has been educating students in Chemistry 11/12 in an online environment for 15 years. Over his 30 year teaching career, he has taught Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, Geology, Math 9-12, Calculus, Digital Media, and Programming, He has coauthored and edited text books and online course content and actively participated in helping others learn to teach in an online environment, regularly presenting at conferences and other professional development activities.. In addition to teaching, Clint is a father of 2 teenagers, his son attending college for sheet metal.metal fabrication and a daughter who is a competitive gymnast in Grade 11 with an eye towards a career in law enforcement. Clint enjoys making culinary creations in the kitchen, playing table top RPG games (eg. D&D), composing soundtracks, and reading whatever crosses his desk.

    Travis Kramer eLearning Manager @ Texas Christian University

    Travis Kramer is the eLearning Manager in the Koehler Center for Instruction, Innovation, and Engagement. His responsibilities include serving as the project lead for administration, customer service, and support for TCU Online. Travis researches and implements new releases and enhancements to TCU Online. He also provides training and instructional design for faculty using TCU Online that focuses on improving teaching and enhancing student learning. Travis has teaching experience in both higher education and elementary public schools. Travis began his career at TCU in January of 2020. He previously worked at Iowa State University in the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching and in the Ivy College of Business. Travis received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Northern Iowa.

    Beverly Bastness South Island Distance Education School (SIDES) @ Distributed Learning Systems Coordinator

    Bev Bastness has worked for the South Island Distance Education School (SIDES) since 2008 as the Online Learning Systems Coordinator and Brightspace Site Admin. Bev is part of the D2L Brightspace K-12 Advisory Board, D2L Fusion Steering Committee and the ReadSpeaker Advisory Board. When not at work Bev enjoys being out in nature and hiking and boating around Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf Islands.
