About this event
Carbon capture and storage (CCS) has emerged as a pivotal set of technologies in Europe’s fight against climate change. With the urgency of climate targets approaching, the deployment race is on to scale CCS solutions effectively. The Central and Eastern European (CEE) region holds immense potential to become a global leader in CCS technologies, with several projects already demonstrating innovative approaches and substantial progress. This webinar will explore how the CEE region can solidify its leadership role in CCS by learning from the achievements and challenges of these trailblasing projects.
Our session will showcase key CCS projects from across the CEE region, focusing on the innovative techniques and strategies these projects employ. We will engage project leaders and European stakeholders in a panel discussion on the next steps for driving CCS to commercial deployment and ensuring the CEE’s position at the forefront of global CCS innovation.
Through this event, we aim to:
This session will highlight the transformative CCS projects emerging in the CEE region and discuss how CEE nations can lead Europe’s industrial decarbonisation efforts by bringing these projects to successful completion.
