About this event

With over 100 employees on job sites across the state of Florida, Shelby Erectors has not only made a commitment to safety through its slogans “Safety Always” and “Everyone Goes Home”, but the results speak for themselves, posting a 1.02 DART rating and 500,000 consecutive hours without a recordable injury.

Join Safety Plus for a sit-down conversation with Jack Nix, COO of Shelby Erectors which is Florida’s premiere bridge rebar contractor, as we discuss the important role that technology plays in the company’s top-tier safety culture.

As the President of the Steel Erectors Association of America, Jack will provide insights from his 40 years in the construction industry, including:

  • A workplace tragedy early in his career that reshaped his mindset around safety
  • The company’s big change around safety audits and the impact that it’s had on their safety outcomes
  • Technology practices and the ability to provide quality control and safety measurability

Even if you can’t make it, feel free to sign up and we’ll send you the recording afterwards!
