Solar Media invites you to their event

Inside the PV industry's n-type ecosystem and its benefits for individual markets

About this event

The solar industry is on the cusp of another major technological shift, with n-type set to become the dominant PV technology by 2025. N-type technologies offer major benefits, including higher efficiency and reduced degradation, and it is critically important that developers and EPCs fully understand the ecosystem involved.

‘Solar Module Super League’ (SMSL) member JinkoSolar has become one of the first module manufacturers to bring an n-type TOPCon product to the mass market, launching its Tiger Neo series of n-type, ultra-high efficiency modules in late 2021.

In this webinar, JinkoSolar is teaming with TÜV Rheinland to provide a technically-driven presentation to demonstrate the impact TOPCon technology has on LCOE and IRR metrics, with regional experts providing specific examples of the benefits n-type technologies can deliver in specific environments.

A roundtable discussion will follow our presentations, where members of our panel will share their valuable insights into the n-type transition and the ecosystem that is being established around it.

Webinar Learning Points:

  • Gain a comprehensive introduction to the Tiger Neo module series, which features power outputs of up to 620Wp and its premium technical features.
  • Learn about the TÜV Rheinland study on LCOE which compared two separate utility-scale PV projects in Australia using JinkoSolar n-type modules and their performance against mainstream, 210mm p-type mainstream high-efficiency modules available on the market today.
  • Understand the impact of ultra-high efficiency modules on the LCOE of the utility scale projects including calculation of the yield benefit for different environmental conditions and installation types done by TÜV Rheinland.
  • Understand what will be the key aspect for the EPC/developer to select modules for projects to reach optimal IRRs.
  • Understand JinkoSolar n-type TOPcon modules’ technical advantages in different regions around the world.
