ISO 15118 in the Vehicle: Implementation and Interoperability

About this event

About this event

ISO 15118-20 is moving from theory to reality. Under the AFIR delegated acts, the first -20 EVSE products will reach the field starting January 2027.

History has shown that small differences in how a new standard is interpreted and implemented can be enough to hurt performance and success rates. For end users and customers, that means confusion and frustration.

As a neutral operator across the eMobility ecosystem, Hubject hosted a half-day remote workshop to bring these risks into the open. Experts from across the EV ecosystem came together to highlight areas of concern, map implementation gaps and agree on actions to protect and improve the end-user experience during this critical transition.

The workshop opened with a session on the regulatory picture and lessons learned from real ISO 15118-20 implementations. Participants then split into small breakout groups for peer-to-peer discussions on the interoperability questions that matter most. The group then came back together to sum up key takeaways and next steps.

Missed it or couldn’t join? Watch the workshop on demand and catch up on the insights shaping the road to January 2027.
