About this event
A One Click LCA Carbon Experts Live discussion with Kayleigh Houde, Founding Member and Co-Chair of the MEP 2040 Commitment.
Buildings are the largest global contributor of carbon emissions, contributing 57% of total emissions — and MEP systems contribute up to 50% of the carbon in commercial buildings and retrofits.
The MEP 2040 Challenge is calling on building systems designers to transform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within the AEC sector, setting a bold target of net-zero carbon by 2040.
We'll be asking Kayleigh about:
Kayleigh Houde is an engineer, technologist and educator whose work focuses on whole life carbon and human health. She is a founding member and co-chair of the MEP 2040 Commitment, Associate Principal and the global Computational Projects Lead at Buro Happold, and a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania where she teaches Parametric Life Cycle Assessment and the Fundamentals of Embodied Carbon
This session will be live streamed via LinkedIn and we welcome comments and questions from the audience.
We make life cycle assessment easy so you can focus on decarbonising your buildings, products, and portfolio.
