Human Performance - The Continuous Season

About this event

Wednesday, September 23 | 12:30 PM ET

The onset of the pandemic not only halted seasons, it also meant that an uncertain timetable for returning to play forced elite athletes to maintain peak fitness for months on end. Games eventually resumed and championships are being decided, but the ripple effect still continues. Leagues across the world are already preparing for the next season so as not to get any farther off their normal calendars—some leagues, in fact, have already started new seasons. This episode of SportTechie Live: Human Performance will focus on how athletes are training during their shortened off-seasons, and how teams are monitoring player health and progress in what is essentially a continuous season from one to the next.
