Finding the needle in the haystack: Turning trends into foresight

About this event

Trends give you an insight into the now, a moment to engage and something to measure. Foresight, however, is more strategic and can completely reshape the future of your brand. It’s pretty hard to do though. Very few trends survive long-term, and even fewer meaningfully shape society or change consumer behaviour to the extent that you can gain a competitive advantage by getting in early. To find those diamonds in the rough means spotting early signals of potential.

That should be a cinch with social listening, right? So much data will definitely include some winners!

Well, steady on. It’s still not easy to analyse vast amounts of data and hit the jackpot on the first go. But, with a bit of patience and knowing what to look for, it’s definitely not impossible.

Join this webinar as we discuss:

✅ What skills you need to move from finding short-terms trends to looking for foresight

✅ What early stage signals to look for when trying to identify long-term trends, and how to know when you’ve found one

✅ How to build processes around foresight within your organisation

✅ Getting buy-in for foresight: How to persuade the wider organisation to have patience
