U.S. Botanic Garden invites you to their event

Reaching New Heights with Rooftop Farming (Online Lecture)

About this event

Rooftops of urban office buildings, apartments, parking garages, and other structures can offer a surprising and often underutilized resource: space to grow food! In this program, Kristof will share firsthand experiences with food production on rooftops across the D.C. area while John will describe how the programs at the University of Maryland are helping address regulatory and environmental issues with green roofs. Come explore urban agriculture from a whole new vantage point!

Intended Audience: All-Levels. Suitable for all learners, this program will provide a variety of content. Program providers will answer both introductory and more advanced questions.
