How to Draw a Pine Cone (Online Art Workshop)

About this event

Artists looking for a new challenge can celebrate the winter season by learning how to draw a pine cone! In this online workshop, you can hone your drawing skills, explore the Fibonacci sequence in nature, gain confidence in representing the natural world on paper, and learn a few pro tips to help you capture the beauty and complexity of plants.

Suggested Materials List:

  • Drawing Pad/Paper 9”x 12” or larger for both wet and dry media
  • 2H pencil
  • 4B pencil
  • Paper tortillion / stump for blending
  • 1 small pocket pencil sharpener
  • 1 kneaded eraser
  • 1 “pink pearl” or similar type eraser

Intended Audience: Adult Intermediate: Suitable for sprouted and full bloom learners, this program dives deeper into the topic. This program does not contain introductory information.
