For better rooftop & balcony solar: DAH Solar introduces SolarUnit, the world’s first integrated PV system

About this event

This unique integrated rooftop & balcony solar product makes design and installation simple and safe, while increasing efficiency and power generation.

It addresses the major ‘pain points’ for distributed solar PV customers: from upfront and lifetime cost concerns, to the complexity of installation, to their expectations of performance, safety and how the modules will look on their roof and balcony.

SolarUnit from DAH Solar combines the advantages of high-tech microinverters and global patent Full-Screen PV module capable of increasing power generation by 6-15%. SolarUnit achieves an overall maximum system efficiency of 97.55%. The Full-Screen PV Module and microinverter are independently innovated by DAH Solar.

Module and microinverter are integrated at the factory, enabling safe and easy installation while greatly reducing the need for cables and connectors with a plug-in connection.

This integration of modules with microinverters also allows for greater flexibility in the design of PV systems, especially for residential usage, with SolarUnit making it possible to install modules in different orientations and with different angles of inclination, following the designs of a roof. The free of design benefits the users by reducing the procedures to cope the entire system.

Additionally, each SolarUnit has its own MPPT system, eliminating the problem of power loss caused by partial shading, which can occur in traditional module strings.

Other exciting features include DAH Solar *Full-Screen PV module technology and **1/3 cut (tripartite) solar cells.

*Full-Screen technology involves manufacturing the module with a front A-side frameless design, which makes rainfall run over the front surface of the module and prevents the accumulation of dust at the bottom.

**1/3 cut solar cell technology is a technological innovation that, instead of being based on larger half-cells, uses cells fragmented into three parts. The use of tripartite cells gives flexibility in sizing of a product and makes it capable to increase efficiency.
